Heritage Video Wins International Award!

Dallas, Texas: Selling Your Coins & Currency At Auction, a new video produced by Heritage Auction Galleries, took the top award in the category Advertising/Marketing: Service ? General Audiences, a Certificate for Creative Excellence, in the 2006 U.S. International Film and Video Festival. From the Festival's website, "The U. S. International Film And Video Festival was founded in 1968 and is one of the world's leading international events devoted exclusively to recognition of outstanding Business, Television, Documentary, Entertainment, Industrial, and Informational productions."

According to the award letter, over 1,250 entries were received for the competition, from 26 countries. The category of Advertising/Marketing: Service ? General Audiences is highly contested, with many entries received every year.

The video, produced and directed by David Lisot from a script by John Petty, details the benefits of selling collections of coins and currency through Heritage, the world's foremost numismatic auctioneer, and is hosted by Jay Johnson, former Director of the U.S. Mint.
