Inaugural Heritage Fine Jewelry & Timepieces Auction Posts Outstanding Results!

DALLAS, TEXAS: Heritage Auction Galleries held their inaugural auction of Fine Jewelry & Timepieces on Monday, December 4, at their world headquarters in Dallas, Texas. With over 1,000 bidders participating, the auction realized $1,469,261 for 800 lots offered.

"I'm very pleased with the results of our first jewelry auction," said Jill Burgum, Director of Jewelry Auctions for Heritage. "Our preview events were very well attended, as was the auction itself, with the auction room full for both sessions. It's gratifying to see that there is so much local interest in fine jewelry, not to mention the support we got worldwide through our strong Internet presence."

"This was our inaugural event," Burgum said, "but we're already hard at work preparing our next offering which will be held in May, 2007. With this auction providing a strong base on which to build, our next event will be even more exciting and spectacular."
