Rarities Abound in Heritage's 2007 Charlotte ANA Signature Auction
Dallas, TX: Heritage Auction Galleries is hosting its 35th Official ANA Auction in Charlotte, March 15-17, 2007. Rarities across all series are included, including some interesting pairings, such as: a remarkable pair of Gem 1925-S nickels in MS65; two 1797 half dollars (XF45 PCGS and XF40 Details ANACS); two B-5 1795 Flowing Hair, Three Leaves dollars (AU55 PCGS and MS64 PCGS Ex: Eliasberg); and a pair of Gem 1907 $20 High Reliefs with Flat Rims.
"We are featuring two highlighted collections in our Charlotte auction," noted Heritage President Greg Rohan. "The Stecher Collection comes with a terrific story of a collector being in just the right place at the right time, and being able to collect the most wonderful pieces from the river of gold coins flowing into Georgia banks after President Roosevelt's 1933 decree. The Reginald Byron Mason Collection was formed by a numismatist who started young, and then as an adult focused on Bust halves. Hundreds of additional consignors added their important pieces to this significant auction."
