Press Release - February 21, 2007

Heritage Auction More Than a Token Success!

Dallas, TX: As part of their recent auction, held as the Official Auctioneer of the Long Beach Coin Expo, Heritage Auction Galleries' offering of numismatic tokens, medals and "so-called" dollars posted impressive results, realizing $282,557 for 817 lots offered.

"This is a fascinating field that grows stronger and stronger with each auction," said Harvey Gamer, Consignment Director for Heritage. "Each piece represents a fascinating glimpse into America's history, and provides a excellent opportunity for dedicated numismatists to expand their collecting horizons beyond traditional coins."

"The results of this auction certainly put Heritage in the forefront of this exciting field," Gamer said, "and we are all excited about our next offering of tokens and medals, part of our Fall Long Beach auction, to be held September 26-29, 2007. We already have some outstanding material consigned, so I'd invite anyone interested to visit our website, www.HA.com, where they can view full-color, enlargeable images of each lot, read our complete and thorough catalog descriptions, and even place their bids online from the comfort and convenience of their home or office."
