Pillsbury Assumes New Role at Heritage!
Will Oversee Development of New Museum Services Department
Dallas, TX: Heritage Auction Galleries is pleased to announce that Dr. Edmund (Ted) P. Pillsbury has accepted new responsibilities with the firm. In addition to his role as Chairman of Fine and Decorative Art, he will now oversee the development of Heritage's newly created Museum Services department. In his new role, Pillsbury will work closely with Heritage's four Executive-owners during the initial startup phase of the Museum Services department, and will continue to pursue important fine and decorative art consignments.
"Dr. Pillsbury's vast experience in, and knowledge of, the non-profit sector will be instrumental in building new business relationships that support and advance the goals of Heritage and the Fine and Decorative Art department," said Heritage Co-Chairman Jim Halperin. "We look forward to working with Dr. Pillsbury in this new capacity."
Leigh Arnold will assist Dr. Pillsbury in both his new and continuing roles, and as such will serve as Senior Administrator, Museum Services/Executive Assistant to the Chairman of Fine and Decorative Art. Arnold will help develop and serve a new museum client base and will also act as Pillsbury's liaison with the Fine and Decorative Art department.
