Weekly Heritage Internet Comic Auction Smashes $100k Barrier!

Dallas, TX: Heritage Auction Galleries. most recent Sunday Internet Comic Auction realized $124,420 for 763 lots, making it one of the most successful Internet Comic Auctions in the auction house's history.

"This particular Internet auction was marked by some exceptional material," said Ed Jaster, Vice-President for Heritage, "including original art by Charles Schulz, Boris Vallejo and Wally Wood, and two copies of the landmark Amazing Fantasy #15, featuring the origin and first appearance of Spider-Man."

"Our Sunday Internet auctions, designed so that a new auction opens when the previous one closes each Sunday evening at 10 pm CT, are a wonderful source of material for collectors," said Jaster. "Designed as a supplement to our larger Signature auctions, these Internet offerings allow collectors to acquire new material, including comics, original art, magazines, pulps, memorabilia and more, on a regular basis. If you think Heritage is only about the Signature auctions, you need to think again and visit www.HA.com, where you.ll find enlargeable, full-color images of each auction lot, complete and informative catalog descriptions, and even the ability to place bids online from the comfort and convenience of your home or office, as well as a brand new selection of material each and every week.
