Appraisal Day Events Coming to Austin, Houston, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Dallas

Dallas, TX: Beginning in July 2007, Heritage Auction Galleries, the world's largest collectibles auctioneer, will hit the road for a tour of Texas to examine and appraise items, and, in some cases, make their owners quite a bit of money!

"Our Appraisal Day affairs have become extremely popular," said Becky Dirting, Director of Strategic Projects for Heritage. "These events give people a chance to talk to our world-renowned experts, some of whom may be recognized from their appearances on Antiques Roadshow and other TV shows, and find out more about the treasures they possess. They also provide an easy and enjoyable way to turn those treasures into cash, if the owner so chooses."

"All of our Appraisal Day events are open to the public," Dirting said, "and our experts will provide free verbal appraisals for up to three items per person in a variety of areas, including rare coins and currency, comic books and original comic art, vintage movie posters, sports memorabilia, fine and decorative arts, celebrity, Hollywood and entertainment memorabilia, autographs, rare books and manuscripts, character collectibles, political memorabilia and Americana, Civil War memorabilia, jewelry and more. Certain pieces may also be offered a spot in an upcoming Heritage auction, where the owner will receive top dollar for their material."

"Heritage is always seeking quality consignments for upcoming auctions," Dirting said, "and experts will be prepared to accept and fully insure consignments on the spot. They will also be prepared to offer generous cash advances on consignments or purchase items for cash!"

Heritage Auction Galleries Appraisal Days run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm as follows:
