$1.1 Million of Certified Coins Quickly Sold Online in Two Days

Dallas, TX: Heritage's weekly Internet Coin Auctions have recently recorded sales of significant rarities. "What a great week for wonderful coins for our Internet bidders," enthused Heritage President Greg Rohan. "Our Tuesday Weekly Internet Coin Auction ending 8/19 included several significant coins, including:

• Lot 2379: 1844 $1 PR65 NGC, ex: Pittman and ex: Kaufman, realized $83,375.
• Lot 23287: 1854 Arrows Dime PR66 Deep Cameo NGC, ex: Kaufman, realized $43,125.
• Lot 23681: 1859-C $5 MS63 NGC, realized $34,500.

"Our Weekly Internet Auction closing the following Sunday also included many coins realizing more than $10,000, including:

• Lot 64201: 1855 Arrows Dime PR67 Cameo NGC, ex: Kaufman, realized $56,063.
• Lot 64894: 1855 $10 Wass-Molitor, MS60 NGC, realized $37,375.
• Lot 64896: 1853 50C Arms of California, BG-435, MS64 PCGS, realized $21,275.

"While these two Weekly Internet Auctions realized nearly $1.1 million," concluded Rohan, "it is important to reminder that these auctions contain coins of all values. In fact, we had recently successfully concluded an experiment whereby there are no reserves on coins valued under $100 in our Weekly Internet Auctions. Our bidders were so successful and our consignors so happy that we are extending that policy until further notice."
