Heritage Restructures Buyer's Premiums for Bullet Auctions
Dallas, Texas: Bob Korver, Director of Heritage Numismatic Auctions, has announced that Heritage has raised the Buyer's Premiums for its Bullet Auctions to 15%. "All future Bullet Auctions will feature a 15% Buyer's Fee, matching the 15% Buyer's Premium in our Signature Sales. Having a consistent fee for both types of sales will help prevent any confusion or miscalculations by our bidders. Our Bullet Auction consignors pay no seller's commission whatsoever."
Heritage has been revitalizing the format of their Bullet Auction, with several important changes that benefit
consignors and bidders. All Heritage Bullet Auctions now feature:
- color-imaging of all single-coin lots on the Heritage website: www.heritagecoin.com;
- our exclusive Interactive Internet™ web-based catalog with computerized bidding on the Heritage website www.heritagecoin.com;
- an improved printed catalog, with three pages of color plates, sent to the best mailing list in the industry.
Added Leo Frese, HNAI Consignment Coordinator: "The posting of full-color photographs of virtually every lot on the Heritage website eliminates one of the principal differences between Signature Sales and Bullet Auctions - the lack of photography of the Bullet coins. This makes the Bullets, with their quicker turn-around and lower seller's commissions, an even better deal. We expect a major growth in sales over the next year."
According to Heritage Co-Chairman Jim Halperin, "Our Interactive Internet™ software continues to demonstrate great success, with participation growing at every sale. Millions of dollars of Internet bids are being received for every auction, and our continuing national publicity campaign promises even more participation in the future. The imaging of all coins on our Website promises increased global participation, as bidders will understand exactly what they are bidding on. We add all this extra demand to the already strong book and floor bidders."
