Fine & Rare Wines Makes Its Debut at Heritage Auctions

Heritage Auctions debuts its Fine & Rare Wines category, piquing the interest of oenophiles everywhere with the bold reds and whites of fine varietals and reserves. Widely-recognized specialist Frank Martell will be the category Director. Heritage Auctions' Inaugural Internet Wine Auction will end on January 25th.

The category expansion is in keeping with Heritage's continued physical expansion in 2010 — into both Beverly Hills, CA and New York City — and the company's Fine & Rare Wines category will be making use of both offices, as well as Heritage's continually expanding global reach.

"Fine & Rare wines is a natural market for Heritage to enter, and one that we've been wanting to get into for a long time," said Greg Rohan, President of Heritage Auctions, "and Frank Martell is a natural fit to head this category. His breadth of experience in the wine business in general, and particularly in building a wine at auction category, is considerable, and we look forward to growing this category with him at the helm."
