John Hubbs III joins Heritage Auctions as Director of Security
DALLAS, TX – Heritage Auctions has announced that John Hubbs III has joined the company as Director of Security. John will develop, direct and implement Heritage’s security operations strategy and provide oversight, guidance, and best practices to security and business managers at Heritage’s operating locations throughout the U.S. and around the world.
“John’s unique background brings more than 13 years of seriously varied experience to this position,” said Greg Rohan, President of Heritage Auctions. “It makes him uniquely qualified to handle the security challenges that a business model like Heritage provides.”
John’s expertise covers a wide variety of business management areas, including security, crisis management, innovation and growth, digital and traditional strategy development, business and operational analysis, organizational design and change, and productivity improvement.
“I’m very much looking forward to partnering with Heritage on the security front,” Hubbs said. “The broad range of my experience has provided me with exposure to a very diverse group of industries, operations and people, which has prepared me quite well to understand Heritage’s needs.”
Prior to joining Heritage, John focused his varied career on helping companies dramatically improve their performance, both in terms of new, innovative growth strategies to drive revenue and new ways of doing business to drive cost structure improvement. He has extensive experience working with leading multinational and Fortune 500 companies, and he has served as an officer for several Dallas-based entrepreneurial ventures, serving clients in North America, Europe and Asia.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Texas A&M University, a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and has completed emergency medical training at UT Southwestern and post-graduate studies in Political Philosophy at the University of Dallas.
