So nice it looks virtually unread, the spine is stress-free, the colors are deep and strong, and the corners are nice and sharp. There is an arrival date notation in grease pencil at the top of the front cover and a slight mis-cut, but this really doesn't reduce the overall eye appeal of this gorgeous book. Captain Marvel Adventures #29 Mile High pedigree (Fawcett, 1943). The "Big Red Cheese" stars in "Battle at the China Wall". This near flawless copy has very fresh interior paper, deep color strike and razor sharp corners. There is some minor stress at the very top of the spine. A truly beautiful book! Exciting Comics #51 Big Apple pedigree (Nedor Publications, 1946). The Black Terror has crime "In Hand" and on the run on this cover by the legendary Alex Schomburg. This issue also features the first appearance of Miss Masque. Killer, near flawless copy has supple off-white cover and interior paper. Exceptional comic! CGC NM 9.4 Off-white pages. Phantom Lady #15 Bethlehem pedigree (Fox Features Syndicate, 1947). Phantom Lady uses her unique Black Ray to fight crime on the cover of this great issue, which also includes excellent interior art by Matt Baker. Superb copy has rich, sharp colors, very supple white cover background and supple interior paper. Perfectly flat and tight with great eye appeal, this is the best copy we have seen at any time. Antonio Prohias - MAD Spy Vs. Spy Splash Page (Signet/EC, 1965). From the paperback original The All New Mad Secret File on Spy Vs. Spy, this is a wonderful splash page (pg. 166). These one-page gags were used in-between stories in the book. Page is 11" x 15" in excellent condition, with a small amount of white-out.
