Amazing Comics Auction™ Sale Breaks Previous Record
Dallas, TX -- Heritage’s latest Internet Amazing Comics Auction™ (ACA), which ended June 2, 2002, has netted $258,318.18 in total sell-through. 308 bidders competed for 388 lots offered; 110 bidders were successful.“This surpasses our previous month’s record-breaker by almost $100,000. The recent revival of comics characters in movies and TV shows has certainly had a positive effect on the hobby,” says John Petty, Director of Heritage Comics. “It’s great to see superheroes finally getting their day in the sun - a trend we expect will continue for quite some time, given the recent success of Spider-Man, and the upcoming Hulk and Daredevil movies.”
