Heritage Announces New Toll-Free TeleBid? Phone Number: 1-866-TeleBid (835-3243)
Dallas, TX -- Heritage is pleased to announce that it has acquired an easy-to-remember phone number for its popular automated phone bidding system known as TeleBid?.According to Jim Halperin, Heritage's co-chairman, "If you don't have Internet access, or can't attend a live auction, this is a great way to place your bids from a telephone. Just dial 1-866-TELEBID (835-3243), and you'll be prompted through the bidding process. The same phone number works for whatever you want to bid on, whether it's coins, currency, comics, original art, or movie posters."
TeleBid? telephone service includes these features for bidders:
- Bid on lots: You can enter the sale number and lot number if you know them, listen to a current sale list, or browse by category. You can then listen to the short description, full catalog description, get all of the coins of that category faxed or e-mailed to you, and bid. When bidding, you can bid any amount, or you can choose to bid the next increment, which is quoted to you.
- Review your bids: You can see what coins you have bid on and where the bids stand.
- Check bids: You can check the bid on any lot. You can enter the sale number, listen to a list of sales, or browse by category.
- Auction archive: You can find the sale price of any lot through our auction archive system. You can enter the sale number, listen to a list of sales, or browse by category.
- Current sales: You can listen to a list of current sales and their sale numbers.
- Entire sale fax or e-mail: You can get an entire sale faxed or e-mailed to you. You can also get past sales sent to you if you know the sale number.
Co-owners Halperin and Steve Ivy are aggressive in their desire to keep Heritage on the technological forefront. Heritage has twice been named by Forbes.com in its "Best of the Web" magazine.
"This is just our latest addition to several methods of participation possibilities - we have the websites, HeritageCoin.com and HeritageComics.com. Or you can place bids in person, on eBay live, or by mail - and now you can just pick up the phone. We'll be looking for every available way to make it as easy as possible to bid," says Ivy.
