HeritageComics.com Website Grows tp 7,500 Registered Bidder-Members!
Dallas, Texas: Heritage Comics Auctions has announced that membership in its on-line community has recently topped 7,500 after barely a year of operation. “That’s about 20 new members a day, on average, 7 days a week,” said Fred McSurley, the comics expert who also writes Heritage’s free weekly newsletter, which has itself grown to almost 35,000 subscribers. While HeritageComics.com is a free website, taking the extra step to become a member of HCA (which is also free, and requires only a few minutes to register) entitles members to bid on-line in both Signature sales, and internet-only Amazing Comics Auctions™. Members also receive updates on important happenings in Heritage Comics, access to Heritage’s Permanent Auction Archive (including prices realized), plus 20% rebates on CGC submissions.
This 7,500-member milestone takes place just after Heritage’s October 10-13 Signature auction, which sold over $5.2 million worth of rare comics, original art, movie posters, comic collectibles, and most notably, the exclusive Nicolas Cage collection of comic books, as well as multiple items from Stan Lee’s personal collection.
Heritage Comics conducts at least three multi-million-dollar live “Signature” comics and original art auctions per year. Bidders can participate online in Signature auctions as well. Amazing Comics Auctions™ (ACA), Heritage’s Internet-only venue, runs continuously at www.HeritageComics.com, with a new sale beginning the first Sunday of every month. Bids are also accepted via 1-866-TELEBID, Heritage’s toll-free automated telephone bidding service.
Those interested in consigning to ACA or live Signature auctions are invited to visit a special section on HCA's website http://www.heritagecomics.com/auctions/consigning.asp, or call John Petty at 214-252-4392 or email Auctions@HeritageComics.com.
HCA specializes in rare, high-grade comic books, as well as vintage comic and animation art, illustration art, movie posters, toys and comics-related collectibles.
