Heritage Gallery Sale Results
DALLAS, TEXAS- Heritage’s December Gallery Sale #913 closed Wednesday, December 18, 2002. Heritage Gallery auctions contain bulk material, rolls, proof sets, and similar material. Unlike all other Heritage venues where bidders have a number of bidding options and never pay more than one increment over the second highest bid, Gallery bidders must submit sealed bids, and pay their full bid amount. All lots must be inspected in person, and are sold as-is without any reserves. Gallery auctions are especially popular with full-time and vest pocket dealers, investors, hoarders, and eBay Power Sellers
In the December 18 auction, 55 bidders competed for 874 lots, and 42 were successful, for a total sell-through of $638,083.00 (100%). The three most expensive lots in the auction realized $10,184.40, $9,247.15 and $7,710.75. “As usual 100% of the lots were sold,” said Jim Halperin, Co-Chairman of Heritage.
Heritage’s next Gallery auction viewing is slated for February 3 through 14, 2003, with bids closing at 5pm on February 14.
