First Prize Winner Announced in Latest Heritage Comics Survey Contest

Fred Willey wins $1,000 Auction Credit

DALLAS, TEXAS:

Fred Willey told Heritage Comics (HCA) all about himself, and it netted him $1,000.

By filling out HCA’s latest collector’s survey, Mr. Willey of Del Mar, California, was entered into a drawing along with thousands of other respondents. On June 26, 2003, Willey’s name was drawn as the First Place winner, and was awarded a $1,000 auction credit to be used in any Heritage Auction. Five Second Prize winners were awarded the opportunity to auction up to $5,000 worth of comics with no seller’s fee, while 10 Third Prize winners received a $100 auction credit to the next HCA Signature Auction. All respondents received a coupon entitling them to auction one CGC-certified comic valued at over $1,000 for one-half the normal seller’s fee - a $75 value.
