Dallas, TX: Heritage Galleries, the world's largest auctioneer of collectibles, is proud to present, at its Wizard World Texas Signature auction in Arlington (near Dallas) November 20-25, one of the finest collections of Beatles memorabilia, autographs and records, ever presented in auction. Offered will be a rare and historic set of Beatles outfits, worn on the cover of their first British LP "Please, Please Me" and the VeeJay LP "Introducing the Beatles". This historic set of rust colored three button suits with velvet cuffs and collars, were also worn in much of the early 1963 publicity photos for the world's greatest band. These suits were displayed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Offered with authentication by the tailor D.A. Millings and a tremendous amount of documentation, these suits are a Beatles collector's dream of a lifetime.
Also offered will be the Bill Paquin Beatle record collection. For over two decades, Bill Paquin has been collecting American Beatles records and other rock and roll gems.
Other items to be offered in the November sale will be the unique and historic United Artists publicity department's early proposal renderings (3) of the "Hard Day's Night" and (1)"Yellow Submarine" movie posters. Included will also be Beatles autographs, toys, including a set of the very rare oversized store display nodders, record player, lunchboxes, model sets, toy instruments in original boxes and a great selection of the massive merchandising campaign used to launch what would become the twentieth century's greatest musical force.
In addition to the great Beatle items offered there will be historic Rock and Roll artifacts including autographs from Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix and the early Rolling Stones, including Brian Jones. Also offered will be the guitar strap Hendrix wore at Woodstock as well as his Fender Strat used to record "Electric Ladyland" and "Are You Experienced". Elvis Presley's acoustic Gibson guitar is offered, as well as many, many other historic Rock and Roll items.
