Myers brings a combination of deep hobby knowledge and organizational expertise to the world’s leading sports auctioneer. His experience in the trading card community provides a strong foundation for connecting with collectors and consignors, while his project management background adds a disciplined approach to coordinating complex initiatives and guiding them from start to finish.

“Erik’s extensive experience in the sports card collecting community and his knowledge of modern cards make him an outstanding addition to our team,” says Chris Ivy, Heritage’s Director of Sports Auctions. “He understands the cards, the collectors and the passion that drives this market. Pairing that insight with 18 years of project management experience brings tremendous value to our department and to the clients who trust Heritage with their collections.”

Across nearly two decades in the trading card space, Myers has gained a perspective on a hobby that connects generations of collectors. That experience will inform his work in modern cards, a category in which player performance, scarcity, condition and collector enthusiasm all help shape demand.

“I feel incredibly fortunate to make a living working in a collecting community that represents a lifetime passion for so many people,” Myers says. “The cards are at the center of what we do, but the relationships, stories and excitement people bring to collecting are what make this community so special. I am thrilled to join the world’s leading sports auctioneer and excited to work alongside the Heritage team to help collectors pursue that passion.”

Myers can be reached at 214-409-1651 or at ErikM@HA.com.
