Heritage's Exclusively Internet? Sale Sets New Sales Records

Dallas, Texas: Heritage Numismatic Auctions is pleased to report that its 47th weekly Exclusively Internet? auction has established a new record, with 96% of the lots in the sale finding excited new buyers. "Our online EI auction that closed August 16 featured 363 lots sold," noted Heritage COO Paul Minshull. "And the lots that are selling are not just those that offer inexpensive coins. The 96% of the lots also represents 97% of the total value in the sale, and this in itself is another record." Exclusively Internet? auctions are open for bidding only through the Internet.

Holli Hughes, Heritage's Exclusively Internet? Consignment Coordinator, added: "Since its inception in September of 1999, our EI program has realized more than $3.2 million in actual sales. Furthermore, we have counted 2,175 bidders, 1,537 of which have won lots in at least one sale. That's a success rate of 71%. Needless to say, we have attracted a following of loyal bidders who bid confidently and successfully in every sale, and that crowd is growing in number every week."
