Milwaukee Shore Collection of Morgan Dollars To Anchor Heritage Central States Signature Auction

Dallas, Texas: Heritage Numismatic Auctions, Inc. has announced that the Milwaukee Shore Collection of Morgan Dollars will be anchoring their Official Auction at the Central States Numismatic Society convention, May 4-7 in St. Louis.

According to Heritage President Greg Rohan, "The Milwaukee Shore Collection was assembled by a collector with a very discerning eye, who carefully chose his coins. While pursuing this virtually complete collection, he consistently selected only premium quality examples for the grade that met his standards for lustrous white frosty coins. Morgan specialists will be very impressed with the outstanding quality of each of the coins offered in this fine collection."

"Most of the Milwaukee Shore dollars were purchased between 1988 and 1992," noted Larry Abbott, Executive Vice President of Heritage Galleries & Auctioneers, "and we will be auctioning them in their old PCGS 'Green Label' holders that are so coveted by advanced collectors. The anonymous consignor started collecting coins in 1975, and he soon became convinced of the importance of third-party grading opinions. His first coins were sent to ANACS, and he then became a very early supporter of PCGS after they began certifying coins in 1986. As a professional engineer, he appreciated the value of rigorous third-party standards. And the results speak for themselves."
