Dallas, Texas: Heritage Comics Auctions (HCA) will offer a copy of Sensation Comics #1, CGC VF+ 8.5 with off-white pages, the first comic to headline Wonder Woman, in their upcoming Signature auction, to be held May 18-20 at the New Yorker Hotel in New York City.

Ed Jaster, Director of Acquisitions for HCA said, "Although this isn't the true first appearance of the Maid of Might - that occurred one month prior to this issue, in All-Star Comics #8 - this is the first book to cover feature the Amazing Amazon, and is a key book for any Golden Age collection. This is a fresh-to-the-market book, submitted to CGC by Heritage on behalf of a coin dealer who purchased it fresh in his store from a local patron presumed to be the original owner."

"In addition to the Wonder Woman story, this issue is also significant in that it introduced two other future Justice Society members, Wildcat and Mr. Terrific," Jaster added. "Add to that the fact that this particular book is one of the four best copies known to exist, and you've got a real winner."
