Results of Heritage's Amazing Sports Internet Auction #45041

Dallas, Texas: Heritage's Amazing Sports Auctions (ASA) sale #45041 ended Sunday, April 24, 2005. With 168 bidders competing, 62 were successful. Total sell-through was $44,024.91 for 204 lots sold (95.32% of the total).

A few highlights from the April 24 ASA sale are:

1933 Goudey Lou Gehrig #92 PSA EX-MT 6. Fantastic color, registration and centering are the keys to the high grade given this important Iron Horse card. REALIZED: $2,007.60.

1933 Goudey Lou Gehrig #160 SGC EX 60. One of the top cards from this Big Three set. Color, contrast and centering are unimprovable, with just corner wear to keep it from the top of the population charts. REALIZED: $1,553.50.

1933 Goudey Babe Ruth #144 PSA VG 3. The definitive Ruth card, with just the typical wear, but perfect centering and strong eye appeal. REALIZED: $1,075.50.

Connie Mack Signed Baseball. Perfect blacd ink sweet spot signature on an OAL (Harridge) baseball. Bob Lemon is on the panel below in pink felt tip. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA. REALIZED: $1,015.75.

1939 New York Yankees World Series Black Bat. Full-sized (35") bat is a vintage presentational piece issued to players and V.I.P.'s affiliated with the Championship squad. Facsimile signatures or block lettered names of all players are engraved in the wood of the barrel to commemorate this historic squad. Moderate wear, with a speckling of tiny spots of what appears to be white paint. Names include Gehrig, DiMaggio, Gomez, McCarthy and Crosetti. REALIZED: $896.25.
