Piedmont Collection, Korea, A machine struck, brass, Sang Pyung Tong Bo "Test Coin" 5 mun ND (1884), reverse with Ch'ung at top, Tang at right, Sip (10) at left, and no bottom character, SCKC-20.3, KM-Tc7, XF with some luster adhering. Very rare. I can find no example of this type in an auction catalog or a priced reference book. The actual value of this piece may be considerably higher than the estimate. (PCGS# 106325)

1942 Cent--Struck on a Dime Planchet--AU 50. Formerly offered as lot 5958 in our September Long Beach Sale, where it was described as, "Reasonably well centered with only part of the L in LIBERTY and the tops of E PLURIBUS UNUM missing. The surfaces have a muted golden-olive patina over the natural silver-gray from the dime planchet, probably a result of many years residence in the paper envelope this piece was consigned to us in. The devices show a rather heavy encrustation of charcoal-gray with the remnant of a fingerprint on the reverse." (PCGS# 98450)

1994 Cent--Struck on a Dime Planchet--MS 66. The cent is the dominant type on this piece with just enough of the dime's design evident to be identifiable as such. Bright with virtually perfect surfaces. (PCGS# 98450)

1814 Cent--Double Struck in Collar--Good 4 PCGS. Doubling is most apparent in the upper obverse field where there are several extra hair curls. Even, deep brown color covers both sides. Also struck from misaligned dies with very little detail present on the left side of the obverse and reverse, while the detailing is much stronger on the right side. (PCGS# 98450)
