1915 Cracker Jack Ty Cob #30 MINT at Heritage Auctions
DALLAS, Texas (May 22, 2019) — The world's largest collectibles auctioneer will drop the hammer on the second-finest 1915 Cracker Jack Set ever assembled, as the virtually pristine compilation is broken down into 176 individual lots. The May 30 auction may rewrite the record books when the final prices are determined in extended bidding format.

More than a century after these issues first tempted collectors with a bold red color scheme and eye-popping cast of Dead Ball Era legends, the assembly exhibits stunningly fine condition throughout, with no entry dipping below a lofty rating of PSA NM-MT 8. Of the cards on offer, 34 are graded PSA Mint 9, with seven standing alone as the finest known.

Highlights include:

· 1915 Cracker Jack Ty Cobb #30, PSA NM-MT 8

· The highest-graded 1915 Cracker Jack Christy Mathewson #88, PSA Mint 9

· The highest graded 1915 Cracker Jack Nap Lajoie #66, PSA Mint 9

· 1915 Cracker Jack Walter Johnson #57, PSA NM-MT 8

· 1915 Cracker Jack Eddie Plank #6, one of two population-topping PSA Mint 9

· 1915 Cracker Jack Honus Wagner #68, PSA NM-MT 8
