Heritage's April Dallas Signature Auction Highlights Jackson Hole Collection: Former #1 Morgan Dollar Registry Set
Dallas, TX: Heritage's April 9-10 Dallas Signature Auction will feature the Jackson Hole Collection of Morgan Dollars, plus a magnificent selection of gold rarities. The auction will be held at Heritage's world headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
The magnificent Jackson Hole set was previously listed as the #1 PCGS Registry set in several categories, and is now the #2 Current and #2 All-Time Finest set on the Registry (Morgan Dollars with Varieties, Circulation Strikes, 1878-1921; Morgan Dollars Date Set, Circulation Strikes 1878-1921). The lots will also be available for viewing in Baltimore, March 22-25. "The numismatist who assembled The Jackson Hole Collection" noted Heritage President Greg Rohan, "started collecting coins at the age of ten. As his medical practice became well-established, he was able to devote more time and financial resources to numismatics, and he chose the Morgan dollars for their fascinating history and aesthetic appeal."
"The gold highlights," concluded Rohan, "include many desirable types and better-dates, from the eighteenth to the twentieth centuries. We expect both date and type collectors to focus on these extraordinary rarities."
