Heritage's September Long Beach Signature Auctions Are Online Now

Dallas, Texas: Heritage has just posted their online catalog for their September Long Beach Signature Auction, which is now open for bidding on the Worldwide Web. The five-session auction will be held Sept. 9-11 at the Long Beach Convention Center, and contains more than 4250 lots. Heritage is the official auctioneer of the Long Beach Coin Expo, and this auction marks their 52nd appearance as the official auctioneer of the Long Beach Coin Expo.

At the September Long Beach Expo, in addition to this catalog from Heritage Numismatic Auctions, Inc., Heritage is also presenting auctions hosted by Heritage World Coin Auctions and Heritage Currency Auctions of America. Adding in the counts from the still-growing Long Beach Bullet Auction, Heritage will be offering more than 13,000 lots of exciting material from every collecting specialty!

"Heritage owes our growth over many decades," noted Heritage President Greg Rohan, "to the trust that our tens of thousands of consignors (and now 120,000+ Internet numismatists) have placed in our auctions. A fun part of that growth is reading the many stories about our consignors and their collections. In this Long Beach auction, we offer important material ranging from the Bodie Collection's four rare territorial gold ingots from the S.S. Central America, to the Otto Clement Collection of rare Double Eagles, to Melvin D. Souza's marvelous collection of Mint State and Proof Buffalo Nickels, with overdates, doubled dates, missing legs, errors, and a host of other varieties."

"Among the several Morgan Dollar collections we are offering," continued Rohan, "each stands out in its own way. The Clear Lake Collection, based on thirty years of collecting experience, was started only five years ago, and concentrated on Dollars with minimal contact marks. The Clarke Marie Collection, a date-run of Morgan Dollars, started as the result of the birthday gift of a certified MS63 Morgan from a collector friend to a non-collector. The Scottsville Collection of Morgan Silver Dollars was a father/son project based on four decades of numismatic camaraderie, put to good use searching for absolutely white, PCGS certified MS63s with outstanding eye-appeal; the consignor decided to complete the set as a tribute to his dad, who passed away five years ago. And just to prove that numismatists do collect other series of Dollars, we are offering Ken Zakaluk's Collection of Early American Silver Dollars, 53 coins dated 1795-1803, and representing 47 die varieties!"

"Among our consignors who have assembled extraordinary collections in scope," concluded Rohan, "we are offering more exquisite gold coins in Part Three of the Greenwich Collection. Wonderful type coins are being offered from the Estate of John Naylor (Part Three) and the Professor Wayne Newman Palmer Collection (Part Two), and the Frank O. Fredericks Collection (Part Six)."
