Continuous Internet Auctions use a unique format wherein all lots close in succession, rather than all at once. Each lot in Heritage's new Continuous Internet (CI) auctions close at a different time (currently 35 seconds after the previous lot).
The first CI lots opened for bids on Saturday, November 7, and closed on Saturday, November 13th between 12 noon Central Time and 10 PM CT. A new CI auction will be posted online just as the previous one closes - every Saturday at 10 PM CT.
Highlights from the November 13 CI sale include:
- 1890 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS.
Struck from a very limited mintage of 8,720 pieces and scarce at all levels, this beautiful piece displays clean, satiny surfaces with great eye appeal. Fully struck overall with a little light patina, one contact mark is mentioned on Liberty's nose that limits the already high grade. Realized $8,791.75 - 1874 $3 MS64 PCGS.
Realized $5,940.90 - 1908-D $10 No Motto MS63 PCGS.
Realized $4,610.35 - 1915 $10 MS65 NGC.
Realized $4,467.75
As with all Heritage auctions, every single-item lot includes full-color enlargeable images of the obverse and reverse, to help you determine your bids with confidence.
