About Michael Provenzale

Mike Provenzale oversees the production of auctions and catalogs at Heritage Sports, including all processes involved in bringing more than 100,000 cards and collectibles, valued at more than $200 million, to auction annually. Mike ensures every item Heritage Sports offers is presented accurately and in the best possible light, bringing the highest return to consignors. The value of these items varies greatly, from a few hundred dollars to multi-million-dollar pieces of history.

Mike also runs Heritage Sports' social media accounts and oversees all the Sports Department's marketing efforts. This includes producing content, conducting interviews, reaching out to current and prospective marketing partners, creating ads, and extending the brand to new clients and demographics globally.

Mike handles clients on both sides of the auction paddle. He is a salesman bringing in consignments and assisting bidders with knowledge formed from two decades in the industry. He participates in the back end of the process, as well as helping with customer service requests and issues.

In addition, Mike oversees special projects that include trade shows, events, and any opportunity to interact with current and new clients or to further the exposure and reputation of Heritage. This includes creating, planning and overseeing the execution of these projects to maximize each opportunity while ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Finally, Mike is a certified auctioneer. This allows him to bring his broad knowledge of the collectibles industry and quick-witted banter to the podium. While his expertise and personality are always part of his performance, he excels at molding himself to the specific venue for each auction to ensure it fits the audience and demographic. He is precise in his presentation to ensure the seller receives the highest return for their item while also relating to and informing the bidder to provide an excellent experience.

Heritage sells items in more than 50 collecting categories. Mike has represented nearly all of them at the podium, including Sports, Comics, Coins, Fine Art, Luxury, Historical, Natural History, Entertainment and Pop Culture. Mike has had the honor of selling some of the most valuable and unique items on the planet and always looks forward to adding to that list.
