Please Join Heritage Auctions Director of Russian Works of Art Nick Nicholson for a one-night only exhibition of the extraordinary, archival "Fabergé Heritage Collection," illuminating the firm and its heritage. Nick will present a Salon Series lecture about the story of the Fabergé family and their illustrious firm during their years of exile. Learn how the Fabergés tried to resurrect the famous firm in Paris in the 1930's, the sale of their name to unscrupulous licensers after the second world war, the proliferation of fakes and forgeries from the 1960's through the present day, and the triumphant resurrection of the brand in the early 1990's.
Heritage Auctions is proud to offer the archival "Fabergé Heritage Collection" at auction on May 8. Many works in the collection will be featured in the gallery and the lecture.
